To be able to buy it, it is not enough to have the more than 400 thousand euros requested by the American brand – it is necessary to have a deep knowledge about the brand and experience behind the wheel of Ford sports cars. Jay Leno won't have had great difficulties in convincing the brand that he would be worthy of a copy.
Former Tonight Show presenter and self-confessed petrolhead owns a 2005 Ford GT with chassis #12. To match, the new Ford GT he added to his garage is also the 12th produced.
The Ford GT is equipped with an EcoBoost 3.5 V6 bi-turbo engine, capable of delivering 656 hp at 6250 rpm, while the maximum torque is 746 Nm at 5900 rpm. All this power and torque is directed exclusively to the rear wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
The first units started shipping at the end of last year, but Jay Leno only received his Ford GT earlier this month.
