It took nearly half a year to find out the power and maximum torque values of the 5200 cm3 supercharged V8 (compressor), and we can only say, they didn't disappoint…
The new Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 delivers 760 hp and has a maximum torque of 625 lb ft, which translating to the metric system gives 770 hp and 847 Nm(!) — not bad, not bad at all...
Let's compare. It's 53 hp more than the Dodge Challenger Hellcat, but 38 hp less than the Hellcat Redeye. When compared to supersports, it also impresses: 50 hp more than a McLaren 720S or the new Ferrari F8 Tribute and equals the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ — respect…

All the power of this V8 is channeled only and only to the (poor) rear wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox, able, according to Ford, to change gears in just 100 ms.
