Once the state of emergency is declared, good examples follow one another. Good examples that happily multiply from north to south of the country.
Through its social networks, Garagem da Lapa, a First Stop workshop in Porto, let its customers know that “after the declaration of a state of emergency, we feel the civic obligation to contribute to this difficult struggle by closing down our facilities”.
A closure that has, however, an important exception: “we are available to serve priority vehicles, such as INEM, GNR and Ambulances”, reads on the workshop's Facebook page.

An exception that the manager of the Porto workshop, António Costa, admits to be “courageous” but “necessary”, since these vehicles have privileged contact with the infected and therefore have to be “assisted to remain active, against this threat that concerns us all”, he finished.
