Range Rover Velar receives new engines and technological equipment

Distinguished with the scepter of Best World Design of the Year at the “World Car Awards”, the Range Rover Velar MY 2019 (Model Year) debuts two new engines, commercially named D275 and P340.

In case of D275 , it is a V6 3.0 l turbodiesel, producing 275 hp and a maximum torque of 625 Nm, while the P340 it is a 3.0 l V6 Supercharged, gasoline, 340 hp and 450 Nm.

Adaptive Cruise Control is new

From now on, with a greater number of options, including the finishing of the seats in Kvadrat fabric for a greater number of versions, the Velar will also have a greater number of driver assistance systems. Among which, the Adaptive Cruise Control with Steering Assistance, which works between 0 and 180 km/h, keeping the vehicle within the lane and with the programmed safety distance from the vehicle in front.

Also available are Cruise Control with Stop & Go, High Speed ​​Emergency Braking, as well as Rear Camera, Front and Rear Parking Sensors, and Driver Condition Monitor.

As part of the list of options, the highlight is the inclusion of the Adaptive Dynamic System and the pneumatic suspension to four wheels.

An 82 l fuel tank is also available as an option on the 340 and 380 hp Supercharged V6s and the 250 and 300 hp 2.0 liter Ingeniums — the fuel tank has 63 l as standard.

Finally, all gasoline engines are equipped with a particulate filter, which makes them cleaner.
