For the third consecutive year, Toyota (including the Daihatsu and Hino brands) claimed for itself the status of the No. 1 manufacturer in the world, managing to deliver a total of 10.23 million vehicles in 2014. In second place, increasingly close to leadership, comes the Volkswagen Group with 10.14 million vehicles delivered. But many analysts believe 2015 will be the year when the German group finally claims the title of the world's biggest manufacturer.
