The design of the second generation Volkswagen Tiguan emphasizes independence and dynamism, which combines larger proportions with sophistication and elegant appearance. The luggage compartment has a capacity between 502 and 615 liters, depending on the position of the second row of seats, which is longitudinally adjustable. With the folding of this, the cargo space expands up to 1 655 liters. In this Highline version, the passenger seat is also foldable, allowing the cargo space to be extended in length.
The tendered version, Volkswagen Tiguan 2.0 TDI 150 hp, is powered by the well-known 150 hp 2 liter TDI block. With a constant torque of 340 Nm between 1,750 and 3,000 rpm and the services of a six-speed manual gearbox, the Volkswagen Tiguan can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 9.3 seconds and register an average consumption of 4.7 l/100 km.
