Today, more than half of SEAT's sales are SUV models. A value that SEAT believes could increase in the coming years. And one of the models that has contributed the most to this success has been the SEAT Ateca. Launched in 2016, the Ateca was the first SUV of the Spanish brand. Then followed Arona and Tarraco.
But because competition is increasing — it is the fastest growing segment in Europe — SEAT decided to renew Ateca's arguments for the next few years.

But it wasn't just SEAT Ateca that received attention. SEAT Tarraco also received an unprecedented FR version. SEAT's sportier equipment level can now, for the first time, be associated with the biggest SUV in the SEAT range.

A moment that SEAT took advantage of to carry out some updates on Tarraco. Changes that, although tenuous, are important and very welcome.
Prices for Portugal
In Portugal, the new SEAT Ateca is available from the Style equipment level onwards. costs 30 580 euros — 1.0 TSI 115 hp engine — and it already offers an endowment of equipment that aligns with the best offers on the market.
Above the Style version, we find the Xperience and FR versions, available by 32 204 euros and 32 312 euros respectively.
Those looking for a little more performance can opt for the 1.5 TSI 150 hp versions, which cost 2000 euros more. Per 41,072 euros , starts the Diesel offer, which is limited to the competent and spare 2.0 TDI engine of 150 hp. An engine that was extensively renovated this year, and debuted in the 8th generation of the Volkswagen Golf.
Regarding the SEAT Tarraco, access to the range is — once again — through the Style version (39,243 euros). The new FR version has a price that starts at 44 893 euros, when combined with the 1.5 TSI engine with 150 hp. The renewed SEAT Ateca and SEAT Tarraco range are now available in Portugal.
