Technology developed by Ford Performance for the most hardcore of the Focus, the Drift Stick is the latest solution found by the oval brand to facilitate the crossings in the Focus RS. It's nothing new — it's been around for a long time in competition — but now it can be applied to a series car, for everyday use.
The animation shows the operation and sequence of the process, quickly, as it happens. Once Drift mode is selected and stability control (ESC) is disabled, the drift stick , which through the braking system locks the rear wheels.
