Two years after having unveiled the SC18, Squadra Corse, the Lamborghini competition department, went to work again to create a unique model and the result was the Lamborghini SC20.
Derived from the SVJ Aventador and designed by the Lamborghini Centro Stile, according to the specifications of a customer who wants to maintain his anonymity, the SC20, a radical “barchetta” without windshield or roof, draws visual inspiration from several models in history from the brand of Sant'Agata Bolognese.
Among the models that inspired this Lamborghini SC20 are the Diablo VT Roadster, the Aventador J, the Veneno Roadster and the Concept S (based on the Gallardo).
In addition to these, it is possible to find some elements “inherited” from the competition Huracán GT3 Evo (the air intakes on the front hood) while the “sculpted” sides were influenced by those found in the Essenza SCV12.
Many octanes, zero electrons
With a carbon fiber body polished and hand-smoothed by Lamborghini aerodynamics engineers for optimized airflow, the SC20 also features custom paintwork and a huge rear wing with three positions: Low Medium and High Load.

As for the interior, the main highlight is the use of carbon fiber in areas such as the instrument panel, the center console, the steering wheel or in the door panels. The seats, whose backs also have a carbon fiber structure, are covered in Alcantara.
Finally, in the mechanical chapter, it remains faithful to the tradition of the Italian brand, using an atmospheric V12, with 6.5 l, here delivering 770 hp at 8500 rpm and 720 Nm at 6750 rpm.
These values are sent to the four wheels through the well-known seven-speed semi-automatic ISR (Independent Shifting Rod) gearbox. As for the tyres, the SC20 Pirelli P Zero Corsa “pants” on aluminum wheels with 20” at the front and 21” at the rear.
Since it is a unique example the price of the Lamborghini SC20 is anybody's guess. Interestingly, all this exclusivity does not prevent you from traveling on public roads, and you can do so legally.
