Once the “home” of the Carris trams (it was the collection point for these vehicles until 1997), the former Arco do Cego Station building will receive this year another type of electric vehicle, hosting this year's edition of the ECAR SHOW – Hybrid and Electric Auto Show.
Originally scheduled for the 8th to the 10th of May, the ECAR SHOW – Hybrid and Electric Motor Show will now take place between September 25th and 27th.
During these days, the space of the former Arco do Cego Station will open at 10:00 am and close at 20:00.
A bespoke place
Obviously, this year's edition of the event dedicated to ecological cars will pay attention to the pandemic situation.

Regarding this issue, the organization states: “we are adapting the entire event to the demands imposed by the current situation. We are drawing up a plan (…) so that the safety of all stakeholders, organization, exhibitors, public and media, is properly taken care of”.
As for the choice of Carris' old Arco do Cego Station to hold the event, this did not happen by chance.
According to the director of the event, José Oliveira, this choice allows “returning to the city a space that is part of the city's history”.
How much is the ticket?
Tickets for this year's edition of ECAR SHOW – Hybrid and Electric Motor Show are now on sale and can be purchased online until September 24th. As for prices, these vary according to the day and time chosen to visit the event, ranging from 3 euros to 8 euros.
As of September 24, tickets will have to be purchased on site and cost 8 euros.
