It is one of SEAT's best sellers and after 20 years on the market and three generations, in 2020 the Leon it is getting ready to meet its fourth generation.

The reveal is scheduled for January 28th and, as if to make our mouths water about the new generation of the model, SEAT unveiled a teaser of the new Leon.

This is a (short) video in which not only do we get a glimpse of the luminous signature of the fourth generation SEAT Leon, but we also get an idea of what the interior will look like.

What did we see?

Starting from the outside, at the rear, the adoption of a light bar that joins the two headlamps is confirmed (a solution introduced in the Tarraco and also used by the el-Born electric concept). SEAT also revealed that the Leon will adopt dynamic rear turn signals and full LED technology.

The Leon will now have a light bar joining the taillights.

At the front, two things “pop out”. The first is that the headlights of the new SEAT Leon have a slimmer profile than the current ones (appearing to be even smaller); the second is that they do not hide some similarities with those found in the top of the range of the brand, Tarraco.

From what we can see the biggest highlights are the ambient light and the two screens, a solution already used in the new Golf.

As for the interior, in addition to full LED ambient lighting, the teaser released confirms the presence of two large digital screens on the dashboard (one of them serving as an instrument panel), a solution that brings to mind the one used by its " cousin”, the new Volkswagen Golf.
