Launched in 2016, the SEAT Ateca , the first SUV of the Spanish brand, is now getting ready to receive the typical “middle age” restyling, with the presentation scheduled for the next 15th of June.
With more than 300,000 units sold since its launch, Ateca is thus preparing to see its arguments reinforced, although, for now, what new features this update will bring remains to be seen.
Still, as the date for the reveal of the renewed Ateca approaches, SEAT decided to whet our curiosity and for that reason revealed a teaser where it anticipates the renewed SUV, with a glimpse of its rear.
What changes in SEAT Ateca?
For now, the rear is the only image we've had access to from the renewed SEAT Ateca. At first glance, the differences seem to lie in the redesigned taillights, which receive a new luminous signature, and also in the bumpers, which are new.

Another novelty is the adoption of a lettering to identify the model identical to the one inaugurated by the SEAT Tarraco FR PHEV and which has a more classic look that even reminds… Porsche!
The rest of the news remains to be seen, but according to SEAT, the Ateca will bring with it a renewed range of combustion engines and an updated interior. However, we will have to wait a little longer to find out exactly what has changed.
