The Volkswagen Arteon left very good impressions in Geneva. Positioned above the Passat, this saloon with coupé features also debuts the new face of the German brand.What designer X-Tomi is proposing to us now is a van variant of the new model, or, to be “cooler”, a shooting-brake, although it isn't. Its predecessor, the Volkswagen CC, was on the market for nine years, always with a single body. Will Volkswagen have more ambitious plans for Arteon this time?

While we wait for an answer, the appealing end result of a hypothetical Arteon van is the ideal antidote to an SUV-infested world. Not all family-oriented vehicles today have to look like they're ready to climb Mount Everest. This proposal is definitely a more elegant solution.
The question that arises is whether Volkswagen is officially equating something like this for the new model. Brand officials say it is in the realm of possibilities. Considering the model's more European focus, a van would be more than suitable for the taste of the old continent.
