Dress in yellow to impress. That's how the new Volkswagen Arteon burst into the 2017 Geneva Motor Show. This 5-door coupé, “successor” to the Volkswagen Passat CC, represents Volkswagen's new design language.
Based on the Volkswagen MQB platform, it is in the front section of the new Arteon that we find what is perhaps the biggest visual change in recent times in a Volkswagen brand model. The front grille assumes a predominant role, it has grown in all directions and the optics give it a sense of continuity.
Inside, the German brand could not pass up the opportunity to include the latest technologies developed in-house, such as the Active Info Display system, Heads-Up Display or the touchscreen from 6.5 to 9.2 inches. When it comes to space in the three rear seats, Volkswagen guarantees that the 2,841 mm wheelbase makes the Arteon one of the most spacious models in the segment.

The range of engines will initially consist of three different engines, in a total of six variants: the block 1.5 TSI with 150 hp, 2.0 TSI with 190 hp or 280 hp, and 2.0 TDI with 150 hp, 190 hp or 240 hp . Depending on the versions, a seven-speed DSG automatic transmission and the all-wheel drive system may be available.
The new Volkswagen Arteon arrives in Portugal at the end of the year, with no prices for the national market yet.
