The Volkswagen Arteon continues its slow development. After having seen some drawings, the brand finally reveals the first details.
Arteon's new teasers reveal a very faithful approach to the Volkswagen Sport Coupe Concept GTE prototype, presented two years ago at the Swiss salon. Even in the chosen color. And no, we're not complaining, as it leaves very good prospects for Arteon's final look.It is at the front that we witness the biggest evolution of Volkswagen's identity. The grille expands horizontally and vertically, occupying a much larger area and incorporating the LED front optics. These appear hidden in the grid filling by a series of horizontal chrome bars. It's as if grille and optics merged into a single element.

The Volkswagen Arteon will assume the same general outlines as its predecessor. Yes, it will belong to the class of vehicles that are called four-door coupés, deriving directly from the Passat but standing above it. There are no known specifications, but it is expected that Arteon will inherit from Passat engines and other technical solutions.
