Cold Start. How much tax would you pay for the most expensive new car in the world?

Anonim

Yes, there will only be one and it already has an owner, but the question came up in the newsroom... How much more would we have to add in taxes to the 11 million euros that the Bugatti La Voiture Noire costs?

Let's start with the ISV, or vehicle tax. The massive engine is 7993 cm3, 16 cylinders in W, produces 1500 hp and, most importantly for this calculation, emits 516 g/km of CO2 (the Chiron's emission figure, the La Voiture Noire is not yet certified). Result: in ISV it is around 117,780.79 euros.

Adding to the 11 million, the amount rises to 11 117 780.79 euros, to which now VAT is added — 23% of 11 117 780.79 euros are 2 557 089.58 euros.

That is, in Portugal, and discounting legalization and transport costs, the Bugatti La Voiture Noire would have a price of at least 13 674 870.37 euros , of which more than 2.5 million euros would go to the state coffers.

And the IUC? The circulation tax even seems like a pittance when compared to the “millions” we've already talked about: only 915.25 euros.

We don't even want to imagine insurance...
