This was the message that Porsche hid in a 911 GT3 purchased by Honda

Upon realizing that it had sold a Porsche 911 GT3 to rival Honda, Porsche decided to “play” with the situation.

There are many brands in the automotive world that, like normal customers, buy models from other manufacturers at dealerships, and Honda is no exception. During the development of the new generation Honda NSX, the Japanese brand acquired a Porsche 911 GT3 to test its driving, and according to Nick Robinson, responsible for the dynamics of the NSX, Porsche discovered who owned the car and did not want to let the moment pass.

The Porsche 911 GT3 in question was one of the models subject to a Stuttgart brand recall for review of a minor engine problem. It was at that moment that Porsche, when checking the data in the ECU, would have noticed the “abnormal” use of the car. All it took was “2+2” for Porsche to discover that the car had been purchased by Honda, and after solving the problem, the German brand d shafted a note under the engine's protective plastic cover , which read: “Good luck Honda from Porsche. See you on the other side.”

And it seems, this would not have been the first sports car purchased by Honda – the McLaren MP4-12C was also at the Japanese brand's premises. According to Robinson, despite having tried hard, the British manufacturer never found out who had bought it…until now.
