In short, this year was the culmination of an adventure that started 5 years ago, we were just a group of friends with good intentions.
Today we are more than that: we are one of the most visited car portals in the country, we are permanent members of Car of the Year in Portugal and of World Car of The Year — alongside the best national and international publications. Our passion for automobiles has given rise to a country that we have always been told is “too small”. It is not!
Fortunately, not all have been setbacks. We have had the support of all the brands in Portugal, which, in a totally transparent way, trust us to analyze their products — it couldn't be otherwise.
Over the years, we have also relied on the wise advice of journalists from other media (some of them our competitors), who admire our work in the same way that we grew up to admire the work of many of them. And we have been counting on you above all!

I'm going to devote myself to writing the Honda Civic Type-R FK8 trial the same way I devoted myself to writing the premium Volvo XC40, the honest Dacia Duster, the exciting Hyundai i30 N or the familiar (what a joke…) SEAT Leon ST Cupra . Because the days have been intense work, I got up at three in the morning and drove the Civic Type-R to one of the best and most beautiful roads in the country: Serra da Arrábida.
The next day, still feeling tired of the week, I went to São Martinho do Porto at the invitation of one of our readers. Objective? A meeting between the first and the last generation of the Honda Civic Type-R. EK9 head-to-head with the FK8. It was just epic!
On that day, Galp's shares must have skyrocketed, such was not the number of times we had to supply our Type-Rs with liters of desire to walk.
Worth it. It was one of those days that make the "hard days" worthwhile.
After the YouTube shoot, there was still time to relax and talk about cars. Unhurried. Also because next year we want more moments like this. Maybe with you and your car…
