BWM Z4 Concept is unveiled tomorrow but...

Is almost. It's already tomorrow that BMW unveils the first images of the BMW Z4 Concept, the model that anticipates the production version of one of the most anticipated roadsters in recent years.

It is possible that the dimensions of the grille and the luminous signature already visible in this concept (highlighted image) will be transferred to the production version, as well as the side profile of the bodywork.

A model that in terms of chassis has been developed in partnership with Toyota. We remind you that the new Toyota Supra will also be born from this platform.

Starting August 17th, the road will never be the same. Stay tuned.

Twins?

Not really. The similarities between these two models, BMW Z4 and Toyota Supra, are exhausted on the shared platform.

Both in terms of aesthetics and in terms of mechanics, the Z4 and the Supra will be two totally different models. On the side of BMW, the adoption of gasoline engines with power between 200 hp (2.0 liters) and 335 hp (3.0 liters bi-turbo), with manual or automatic transmission (optional) is already taken for granted.

From Toyota's side, a more hi-tech solution is expected – the manual cashier is an “out of the deck” card. There is talk of an automatic gearbox associated with a hybrid engine with a combined power of more than 300 hp.

Taking into account that the BMW Z4 Concept will be presented tomorrow, we should get to know the production version as early as March, at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show.
