Positioned just below the already confirmed M8, this version BMW M850i xDrive it has, as its name implies, an all-wheel drive system, in addition to what BMW calls Integral Active Steering — basically, a four-wheel directional system.
In addition to these attributes, a lower center of gravity, as well as greater firmness, both on the chassis part and on the suspension. Features to which it is also necessary to add an Active Stability Control, electronically controlled shock absorbers, without forgetting an engine to match the set.
According to BMW, the block chosen for this BMW M850i xDrive was a “completely redesigned” V8, announcing 68 hp and 100 Nm more than its predecessor. Thus, offering a total power of 530 hp and 750 Nm of torque — available, stand out, as early as 1800 rpm!
Helping to put all this power on the tarmac, a new evolution of the already known Steptronic eight-speed automatic transmission, capable of guaranteeing even faster passages than before.

Although still in development, BMW promises to start marketing the new 8 Series generation later this year, towards the end of 2018. The same goes, it seems, with the eagerly awaited M8.
