It's already on the 28th of June that another edition of the Bridgestone Rally/First Stop Guard , and as in previous editions, the event should function as a meeting point for professionals in the automotive world: public relations, organizers, journalists, drivers, ex-drivers, among others...
The 23rd edition of the Bridgestone/First Stop Guard Rally will end up having a special meaning, as it will be the last edition to be held. The origins of this rally date back to 1988 and since the beginning its objective has always been to promote and publicize the Guarda region through the automobile.
With the Hotel Lusitânia in Guarda as its operations center, the last edition will consist of 47 teams and a hundred participants, where many rarely miss an edition of this meeting.

The program couldn't start the day in the best possible way. June 28th with a wine tasting, in collaboration with the Regional Wine Commission of Beira Interior and with a welcome dinner.
The action behind the wheel is reserved for the day June 29 , Saturday, with the connection between the municipalities of Guarda and Trancoso. Lunch is reserved for the town of Trancoso, and a visit to its historic center is still planned.
In day June 30th The traditional Bridgestone Rally/First Stop Guard 2019 test will take place, where the more agile behind the wheel will be able to discuss their place on the podium. The closing of the last edition of the rally will be composed with the Solidarity Action Rally da Guarda F1.
