Ariel Nomad R. Even more radical and much more limited

Anonim

Revealed about five years ago as the Ariel Atom for those who don't like tar, Nomad now presents itself in its most radical (and exclusive) version, adopting the name Ariel Nomad R.

Originally, the Nomad was equipped with the 2.4 l, 238 hp and 300 Nm Honda K24 i-VTEC block, later receiving a turbo version of this engine with 294 hp and 340 Nm — it looks like there was still room for more power.

The "blame" is Honda's K20Z3 block with 2.0 l that after receiving an Ariel compressor started to offer 340 hp at 7600 rpm and 330 Nm at 5500 rpm.

The transmission is powered by a Sadev six-speed sequential gearbox identical to the one used by the Ariel Atom 3.5R and Atom V8. Among the many qualities of this box is the weight, which stands at 38 kg.
