Between the days August 24th and 25th , drift is once again “taking over” of Pinhel with the realization of this fourth edition of the “Drift de Pinhel” being in charge, once again, of Clube Escape Livre and the City Council of Pinhel.
As in the past, this year's edition will not only score points for the Portuguese Drift Championship but also repeat the award of the International Drift Cup, a drift demonstration outside the championship and which will bring Swiss, French and Spanish riders to Pinhel .
In all, 18 pilots will be present at the International Drift Cup. Among the Portuguese, names such as Rui Pinto (pilot ambassador of the event), Marcos Vieira and André Silva stand out. Among the foreigners, the Spanish Martin Nos and Hector Guerrero, the French Sebastien Farbos and Frank Lager and the Swiss John Tena and Michael Perrottet stand out.
The machines that will walk there
Among the cars used by the drivers who will participate in the “Drift de Pinhel”, the majority are BMW, among them the famous E30 and E36. Even so, several Nissan 200 SX will also be present at the Beira race and even an Opel will ride there.

As has been the case since 2017, in addition to the trophies of the two competitions, the “Drift de Pinhel” will also count on the attribution of the Daniel Saraiva Trophy. The trophy winner is found by joint decision of the CN Racing team with the event organizers.
The two-day program starts at 9:30 am on Saturday, with the welcome reception followed by free practice for the Portuguese Drift Championship, with the scheduled for 15:45. On Sunday, the Portuguese Championship continues from 11am, with battles and finals being disputed until around 4pm.
