The day Lancia was "reborn" with Delta Futurista

Created from an original Lancia Delta Integrale, the Lancia Delta Futuristic can be considered the ultimate version of the Italian model. And why do we say this? The simple thing is that Automobili Amos kept the best of what the original Lancia Delta Integrale had, improved the “less good parts” and in the end offered us a car that we are only sorry for not having the money to buy.

Limited to 20 units and with a price of 300 thousand euros (before taxes), the Delta Futurista is made based on the original Delta Integrale body rebuilt in carbon fiber (weighs only 1250 kg) and has improvements in terms of suspension, transmission and engine, which despite being the 2.0 Turbo 16V original, now debiting 330 hp.

The interior was also subject to improvements, receiving Recaro seats, aluminum pedals, a new instrument panel and other upgrades. Left out were the concessions to modernity such as gigantic screens for the infotainment system… which doesn't exist (something that didn't happen with the Jaguar E-Type Zero).

The Origins of the Futuristic Lancia Delta

At this point, you should be asking yourself: but after all, how did it all start. Well, the answer to that question is given in a video recently released by Automobili Amos, the creator of this fantastic restomod and where we can watch interviews with the company's founder, Eugenio Amos, designer Carlo Borromeo and other key figures of the project.
