the second tour She she's the Mercedes Off Road Experience , organized by Mercedes-Benz and Clube Escape Livre, took place last Saturday, May 12, between Torres Vedras and Mafra, and the number of participants surpassed the first edition.
With mild temperatures, the departure took place at the refined Hotel Dolce CampoReal, in Torres Vedras, starting with a stage that crossed rural paths and headed towards firebreaks surrounded by eucalyptus trees, until reaching the top of Serra do Socorro. With a panorama as far as the eye can see, over the cuts of the agricultural fields and the mountain line, the participants visited the local sanctuary, on a guided tour that had the collaboration of the municipality of Mafra.
A new stage along dirt roads, between windmills, wind farms and vineyards, passed without difficulty by the conductors, led to Tapada de Mafra, where wild boar, fallow deer and deer exhibited, surprising the caravan.

We once again challenged “Mercedes-Benz women” to venture off-road, through breathtaking landscapes, reinforcing their connection with the Mercedes-Benz brand. It is very gratifying to be able to share emotions and experiences that remain in the memory of the participants of this event. Something we want to continue to promote with more She’s Mercedes initiatives.
This was followed by a guided tour of the Mafra National Palace, with its large halls covered in marble, tapestries, canvases and furniture, which added to knowledge about royal life. The next route tested the skills of driving on sandy and dusty trails, by the sea, before returning to the hotel, for a snack with the offer of SPAL trophies.
Also opportunity for Mercedes-Benz drivers to get to know and taste some of the wines from the Torres Vedras region — European City of Wine in 2018.
Inside the Tapada de Mafra, it was possible to see several families of wild boar up close.
