The Saab 96 Rallye of the Automobile Ratio

Razão Automóvel also participated in the Guarda Rally, this being the third consecutive participation, this time at the wheel of a Saab 96 Rallye. If you follow us on Instagram, you'll certainly know which is the most beautiful yellow car in Portugal (forget Noddy, you don't have a chance…)

The Saab 96 Rallye took part in the maneuverability test, with Diogo Teixeira at the wheel, having achieved an honorable 31st place in the General classification. Arm assisted steering was decisive in achieving this result.

In addition to the competition, the program was marked by the pre-presentation of the book of 30 years of Free Escape Club History , in a rally closely linked to the Club's history. Another important moment was the visit to the Jarmelo fort, where Agostinho Silva, dressed at the time, took the participants on a journey through time, through history, heritage and the tragedy linked to D. Pedro and Inês de Castro.

Bridgestone / First Stop, which led participants, blindfolded, to put the tires on a model with a car, was elected among the participants as the “Best Automobile Brand in the Guarda Rally”, an award won in 2016 in ex- aequo by Ford and Renault.
