The new Mercedes video partially reveals the design of the star brand's next ultimate performance model: the Mercedes-AMG GT R.
A little over a week before its official presentation, the Mercedes-AMG GT R was given an official brand teaser, which shows us a little of the exterior and interior appearance of the German model. In this hardcore version of the AMG GT, everything indicates that the 4.0 liter V8 block will have between 550 and 600 hp, with certainty that it will be the most powerful in the range.Positioned between the Mercedes-AMG GT S and Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series, the sports car is inspired by the competition version – AMG GT3. In addition to the engine upgrade, improvements are to be expected across the board, namely in the brakes, tires, wheels, suspension, steering and even a body with carbon fiber elements.

The much anticipated Mercedes-AMG GT R has been tested at the Nürburgring and will be unveiled on June 24th, during the Goodwood Festival.
