Via Free. GNR's action to end the "middle lane tiles"

Anonim

Just a short drive on any highway is enough for us to realize what we have already defined as a "national epidemic", the insistence of many drivers to constantly drive on the middle lane (and even sometimes from the left) remains a reality. However, to prevent this from continuing to be like that, the GNR started the “Via Livre” operation.

The action will take place across the country between this Friday (April 12th) and next Sunday (April 14th). The objective is to make drivers aware of the fact that they must travel along the lane furthest to the right, except when overtaking, of course.

According to a statement from the GNR, the “Via Livre” operation is intended to “avoid the circulation of vehicles on the middle or left lane, without traffic on the rightmost lane of highways and lanes reserved for cars and motorcycles ”.

GNR

give fine and take points

In the same communiqué, the GNR confirms what we all already know about this (bad habit), stating that it causes "constraints to road safety and the fluidity of traffic, which often motivates the occurrence of deviant behavior and the committing of other infringements by other drivers”.
