THE Audi e-tron 50 quattro it assumes itself as the new version of access to the electric SUV, complementing the 55 quattro already on sale. The arrival on the market should take place at the end of this year or at the beginning of the next.

What are the differences?

As the access version, the e-tron 50 quattro loses power and autonomy compared to the e-tron we already know. It maintains the two electric motors as well as the four-wheel drive (e-quattro), but the power is kept by the 313 hp and the binary by 540 Nm instead of the 360 hp (408 hp in Boost mode) and 561 Nm (664 Nm in Boost mode) of the 55 quattro.

Of course, the benefits suffer, but they continue to be fast. The Audi e-tron 50 quattro is capable of accelerating up to 100 km/h in 7.0s (5.7s for the 55 quattro), and the (limited) top speed drops from 200 km/h to 190 km/h .

Already certified in accordance with the WLTP, the maximum autonomy of the e-tron 50 quattro is 300 km (417 km on the 55 quattro) — To ensure maximum efficiency, Audi notes that in most driving situations only the rear engine is active.
