Cold Start. Respect. Century GRMN is Toyota President's Car

THE Toyota Century it's an eccentricity. A luxury saloon intended primarily for the Japanese market, with the Japanese Emperor or Prime Minister as customers. We've recently met a new generation—whom we've also made known—of the equivalent of a Japanese Bentley or Rolls-Royce.

But now images of a “different” Century have emerged. The color scheme is no-nonsense, it really is a Century GRMN — it seems that not even the most placid and luxurious Toyota is safe from the very individuals who gave us the effervescent Yaris GRMN.

Then we found out that it was Akio Toyoda himself who was moving in this unique Century. After being “caught”, Toyoda himself posted an image of this peculiar prototype on his Instagram account.

Akio Toyoda has always defended that Toyota group cars should be more exciting… and not even the aristocratic Century seems to be immune to his ambitions.
