Normally, when we see images of the interior of a prototype, it looks more like a spaceship in a science fiction movie than a future production car. However, the revealed image of the interior of the next prototype that the Honda will lead to the Geneva Motor Show, is clearly approaching a production car.
In this one we can see the interior of the concept that anticipates the future electric model from Honda (the first of the brand powered by batteries) and, truth be told, it looks very close to the interior that will be adopted in the production version.
Otherwise let's see. In place of any futuristic steering wheel comes a simple and simple steering wheel already with airbag, horn and the most diverse buttons. Behind this we find the indicator rods and windshield wipers and instead of a huge and single screen, as in the case of the Honda Urban EV Concept , we have three smaller screens in a much more conventional solution.
Horizontal panel and minimalist design
As if confirming the proximity to the final production version, it is still possible to see in the image released by Honda that the interior of this prototype already has ventilation outlets and conventional climate buttons, and we can also see radio control buttons. Here's something we're not used to seeing inside a prototype.

According to Honda, the interior of this new prototype was inspired by the one used by the Urban EV Concept, presented in 2017 — this new electric model will be the production model for that concept — something that is confirmed by the adoption of horizontal lines and a minimalist design which bets on the interactive and technological component.
Presented at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show, the Honda Urban EV Concept was the first test on the Japanese brand's electric future.
Scheduled for a presentation on March 5 at the Geneva Motor Show, it now remains to be confirmed whether the exterior of this prototype will also be presented with “dresses” already very close to the production version or whether it will bet on the most exuberant adornments typical of the concepts.
