We already know when the Volkswagen Golf R will be unveiled

Little by little, the range of the new Golf is being composed. After having already seen the Golf GTI, GTD and GTE, the Golf Variant and the Golf GTI Clubsport, we are now about to meet the new Volkswagen Golf R.

According to a post shared on Volkswagen R's Instagram and on the Twitter of North American driver Tanner Foust (who also presented the Top Gear USA), the most powerful of the Volkswagen Golfs will be revealed on November 4th.

For now, we've only had access to a (very) brief teaser in which we can see the luminous signature of the new Golf R, and, as far as we could see, it should also give up the five LED lights present in the GTI, GTD and GTE.

The unveiling of the new Golf R may only be scheduled for November, however, we already know what the Golf R is hiding under the hood.

Thus, and as we told you about a year ago, the new Volkswagen Golf R should have 333 hp extracted from the “eternal” EA888 with four cylinders and 2.0 l capacity.

Like its predecessor, the new Golf R will have four-wheel drive, using the 4Motion all-wheel drive system, as well as the DSG dual-clutch transmission.
