It's just a little while before we get back to vibrating with the races of the World Championship in Speed. Little by little, all the teams are revealing the bikes, riders and decorations they will present in the 2021 MotoGP season.
After Ducati, which presented its teams last week, one of the most anticipated moments by the Portuguese happened today. The KTM Factory Racing Team, KTM's official factory MotoGP team, presented Miguel Oliveira as an official pilot. It is the third time in his career that Miguel Oliveira represents KTM.
After two victories, a pole-position, a fastest lap and several TOP 6, the Portuguese driver was promoted to the official team, thus abandoning the secondary structure of the Tech 3 team, where he played for two seasons also driving a KTM RC16.
Towards the title in MotoGP
This season, Miguel Oliveira celebrates 10 years of his career in the World Speed Championship. Twice world runner-up — in the Moto3 and Moto2 intermediate categories — the Portuguese rider, born in Almada, is in one of the best moments ever.
After two victories in the 2020 season — where only a few retirements did not allow a higher place in the final table of the World Cup — and now driving one of the most competitive bikes on the MotoGP grid, and part of one of the teams with the greatest technical and human resources in the World Championship, Miguel Oliveira's ambition is clear: become MotoGP World Champion.
