If you remember, problems in the software of the new Volkswagen Golf (and also of the Skoda Octavia) that affected the functioning of the eCall system forced the interruption of deliveries of the two models about a month ago.

Now, it seems, the problem has already been resolved, with a Volkswagen spokesman saying in an interview with the Handelsblatt newspaper that the Golf deliveries will resume.

According to Automotive News Europe, the problem (which consisted of an unreliable sending of data) was discovered and all affected models will receive a software update to solve it.
