After the launch of the DS7 Crossback, which gave the definitive kick to the launch of the luxury brand of Grupo PSA, the French brand is now preparing to launch a new model: the DS3 Crossback.
A model that, in terms of philosophy, will repeat the formula of its older brother, the DS7 Crossback. In other words, avant-garde design, superior materials, premium positioning and the best technology from Grupo PSA.
If the presentation of the DS3 Crossback on September 13th is confirmed, it will also be the debut of the new CMP (Common Modular Platform), the future platform of the Peugeot 208. A platform that will bring with it many of the technologies that until now were only available in the models from the highest segments of the PSA Group, namely on the EMP2 platform.
In terms of engines, the new French crossover will have a Puretech Turbo 1.2 engine with 110 or 130 hp, and a 1.6 Puretech Turbo with 180 hp (or 225 hp as an option). A Diesel 1.5 BlueHDi variant and a 100% electric variant are not discarded.
With presentation expected for the next September 13th, the first public appearance of the DS3 Crossback should take place at the Paris Motor Show, from October 4th to 14th.
