Opel promises that yet another premium city dweller will lose his mind. The Opel Adam cabrio arrives in 2014.
If you liked the Opel Adam but your idea of being a city person is an airy car that allows you to enjoy spring and summer to the full, then you will fall in love with the Opel Adam Convertible. In line with its competitors, the Opel Adam Cabrio loses its head, not all of it – the roof is replaced by a retractable tarpaulin and like the Fiat 500C and Citröen DS3 Cabrio, the Opel Adam Cabrio maintains the side structure of the bodywork, as we see in the image.
This canvas hood system, common in premium SUVs in its segment, guarantees the maintenance of all the luggage space compared to the normal version and gives it that retro style much sought after by mini-cabrio enthusiasts. As for engines, the Opel Adam Cabrio must want to keep up with the competition, which is increasingly difficult – in Paris the racing version for the DS3 cabrio, a special edition with 200hp of power, is already being studied. We are waiting for more information and probably confirmation of an Opel Adam Convertible OPC, perhaps for 2015…
