We can already buy the new BMW 3 Series in Portugal, with the German brand disclosing the composition of the initial range and its prices.
The Series 3 (G20), grows in all directions relative to the predecessor (F30), and even considering the increase in torsional stiffness by 50%, the seventh generation is now up to 55 kg lighter.
The larger dimensions are reflected in the interior, with larger shares of habitability. It is also in the interior where we find the biggest differences from the predecessor, with its most pronounced digitization.
There are two dashboards available: a standard 5.7″ and an optional 12.3″ all-digital option called the BMW Live Cockpit Professional.
The infotainment system's display — now with the BMW Operating System 7.0, which can be controlled via the touchscreen, iDrive control, steering wheel controls, voice and gestures — can range from 6.5″ to 8.8″. still a 10.25″ option.
Engines
In this launch phase, the new BMW 3 Series will be available with three diesel engines and one gasoline engine. On the Diesel side, the 318d and 320d make use of the 2.0 l block with two levels of power and torque, 150 hp and 320 Nm and 190 hp and 400 Nm , respectively. At the top is the 330d equipped with the in-line six-cylinder block with 3.0 l, 265 hp and 580 Nm.For now, the only gasoline engine available, we can find it in the 330i , equipped with the four cylinders of 2.0 l turbo and 258 hp and 400 Nm . More engines will be available throughout the year, which will include the plug-in hybrid, 330e , capable of a maximum electrical autonomy of 60 km.
There are two transmissions available: six-speed manual and eight automatic. The 320d is also available with four-wheel drive.

The prices
The new BMW 3 Series will be available in four equipment levels: Advantage, Sport Line, Luxury Line and M Sport. The prices for the new model remain.
