Until the new generation arrives – for now nothing has been confirmed… – Jaguar is selling out the last cartridges of its XJR. And what better place to do it than the Goodwood Festival, which took place this weekend in West Sussex, England.
The British brand unveiled a more powerful version of the Jaguar XJR. The inscriptions all over the bodywork and interior leave no doubts: they are 575 horsepower , taken from the same supercharged 5.0 V8 block, 25 hp more than the current model.
Although Jaguar has not revealed performance figures, the 4.6 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h and the current model's 280 km/h top speed give us an idea of what to expect from the new XJR. The Jaguar XJR is under development and will be officially unveiled later this summer.

XE SV Project 8, the most powerful Jaguar ever
In addition to the XJR prototype, the British brand presented itself at Goodwood with another power machine, in this case its most powerful road-legal model ever.
As we noted last week, the Jaguar XE SV Project 8 is the second model of the Jaguar Land Rover SVO Collector’s Edition. Under the hood is also a supercharged 5.0 V8 block, but with 600 hp of power.
The XE SV Project 8 will be produced at SVO's technical center and will be limited to 300 units, with a release date yet to be revealed.
