The Chevrolet Corvette “Tune It! Safe” was revealed in Essen, Germany. A special creation for a special campaign…

German Association of Modified Vehicles (VDAT), decided to take another step in its awareness campaign “Tune It! Safe!” – which calls for industry best practices and road safety – with a surprising model: a Chevrolet Corvette tuning.

The car was completely changed by TIKT Performance who added an enviable aerodynamic kit. This peculiar Chevrolet also wore the police uniform, reinforcing the awareness of tuning fans, who do not always choose the path of safety. It was the way that the VDAT found to bring the police authorities closer to the German tuners.

The power of this model is provided by a 6.2-litre V8 engine that develops 459 horsepower (it's not just the Dubai cops who are lucky), and which is harmoniously linked to a seven-speed manual gearbox. All in all, this translates into an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 290 km/h.
