Ian Callum, Jaguar's design director, opened the brand's box of surprises by revealing that more powerful versions of the Jaguar F-Type Coupé are in development. Jaguar F-Type Coupé RS and RS GT are on their way.
Los Angeles was the stage for the unveiling of the new Jaguar F-Type Coupé, whose beauty leaves no one indifferent, much less when accompanied by a symphony worthy of shouting to heaven, reproduced through its exhausts and found in the 5.0 V8 engine with 550 hp, the perfect instrument. But what about powers close to 700 hp? If you thought that Jaguar saw its championship finish against the more rational models of Porsche, then you are wrong – with the Jaguar F-Type Coupé RS and RS GT, Jaguar wants to reach the first league and Ferrari and Lamborghini take care.
Both the Jaguar F-Type Coupé RS, and the Jaguar F-Type Coupé RS GT, should be launched during 2014, the latter being of limited production, in the image of the Jaguar XKR-S GT (30 units). Power boosts can push the Jaguar F-Type Coupé beyond the 300 km/h barrier, putting its performances at the “ballistic” level.
