Six years on the market, the third generation of Kia Sorento it prepares to be surrendered and the ways of its successor have already been revealed.

After two weeks ago unveiling two teasers that anticipated the new generation of the Sorento, Kia decided it was time to end that expectation and unveiled the fourth generation of its SUV.

Aesthetically, the new Sorento follows the design philosophy implemented at Kia in recent years, with the already traditional “tiger nose” grill (that's what the South Korean brand calls it) which in this case integrates the headlamps that feature daytime running lights. in LED.

Looking at its profile, the proportions of the new Kia Sorento are now more elongated, with the longer bonnet standing out and the volume of the cabin a little more recessed. To achieve this, Kia increased the wheelbase, which made it possible to reduce the front and rear span, and the bonnet grew as a result of the A-pillar setback by 30 mm in relation to the front axle.

Highlight for Kia's new infotainment system, UVO Connect, which becomes part of the interior, as well as a new architecture. This abandons the “T” scheme of the predecessor, becoming dominated by horizontal lines, “cut” only by the vertically oriented ventilation outlets.
