It's still a little early for the French brand to publicize the new Peugeot 2008, but what is certain is that the images of this Compact Crossover are already all over the internet.
This 2008 is Peugeot's trump card to face Nissan's Juke and Opel's Mokka, two tough rivals to beat. Apparently, the images show us the final version of this Peugeot 2008, which means that its external dimensions should be close to 4.14 meters long and 1.74 meters wide.
Nothing is known about the powertrains yet, but as we've said before here, the 2008 should include a 1.2 VTi engine with 82 hp atmospheric and eventually a turbo version to debut next quarter in the 208. In addition, eventually a 1.4 VTi and at the top of the list the 1.6 THP with 156 hp – all of them gasoline. For the diesel variants, the well-known 1.4 HDi with 70 hp and the 1.6 e-HDi with 92 hp and 115 hp are expected.
The official debut of this new French Crossover will take place at the Geneva Motor Show at the beginning of next March.
