According to Sergio Marchionne, the Ferrari SUV will not be an SUV, it will be a FUV: Ferrari Utility Vehicle. According to Marchionne, its «FUV» will be very different from competing proposals like the Porsche Cayenne, Bentley Bentayga, Lamborghini Urus or Aston Martin DBX. Ferrari's idea is for a sports car with a more practical and spacious nature than the GTC4 Lusso. Objective? Achieve a wider range of customers.
The final decision on the production volume of the model referred to as a “FUV” (F***ing Utility Vehicle) will still take 30 months, but it will certainly be limited to preserve the brand's exclusivity.
The main image is merely speculative, but meanwhile new photographs appear that do not seem to be more than style exercises.
During the first quarter of next year, the brand will present a new five-year strategic plan, and wants to double profits in 2022, which will only be possible considering the expansion of the model offer.
