While Americans have the Moab Easter Jeep Safari, Jeep fans in Europe have the Camp Jeep . Unlike the North American event, this one does not take place over seven days, nor does it always take place in the same place, being scheduled this year for San Martino di Castrozza, in Italy, and taking place between the 12th and 14th of July.
Although it has not yet revealed the complete Camp Jeep 2019 program, the brand has already revealed that it will take advantage of the event dedicated to the Jeep Owners Group and its fans in Europe not only to present, in a European preview, the gladiator as well as the 1941 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon that the brand recently unveiled in Geneva and which was prepared by Mopar.
The 1941 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon and the Jeep Gladiator, scheduled to arrive in Europe in 2020, will thus be the big stars of the event — there won't be half a dozen prototypes as they do for the Moab Easter Jeep Safari.
In addition to having the opportunity to discover these two models, visitors to Camp Jeep 2019 will also be able to test the entire SUV range of the American brand, test the Jeep models' all-terrain capabilities in various off-road routes and still participate in various activities.
Wrangler Rubicon 1941
Compared to other Wranglers, the 1941 Rubicon Wrangler has a 2” lift kit, snorkel, bodywork and mechanical parts protections. In addition, it also received specific aesthetic elements such as special wheels, an exclusive gearshift lever handle or off-road lights.

Derived from the Wrangler, however, it has received specific structural developments — it is 787 mm longer than the Wrangler — and is better equipped to handle higher loads. As with the Wrangler, it is possible to remove the doors and lower the front window.
It was launched with a petrol V6 in the US, but when it arrives in Europe, it should come with a 3.0 l diesel V6 with a power of around 260 hp — the Wrangler comes equipped with a four-cylinder diesel engine with 2.2 l of 200 hp.
