The grille was redesigned and the typical Kia "tiger nose" became more visible.

Also in the aesthetic chapter, the Kia Picanto received new 16” wheels, a new color (called “Honeybee”) and chrome and black details.

And inside?

Unlike what happens on the exterior of the renovated Picanto, the aesthetic changes inside were much more discreet, boiling down to small decorative details.

So, inside the smallest of the Kia, the big news are the new 8” touchscreen for the infotainment system (there is another one with 4.4”) and the 4.2” screen present in the instrument panel.

Picanto also has the Bluetooth Multi Connection function that allows you to have two Bluetooth devices connected at the same time.

Security on the rise

Still in the field of technology, the renovated Picanto has numerous safety systems and driving assistance, a bit like its “cousin”, the Hyundai i10 . These include systems such as blind spot warning, rear-end collision assistance, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning and even driver attention.

It's available in South Korea with a 1.0 l three-cylinder, 76 hp and 95 Nm. Around here, we'll have to wait for the little Kia Picanto to arrive in Europe to find out which engines will power it.
