American sports cars are there for the curves… – literally. Gone are the days when muscle cars on the other side of the Atlantic only knew how to move forward, and the video you'll be able to watch below is another example of that.

After having announced a «cannon time» on one of the most demanding circuits on the planet, the Nürburgring, Chevrolet has now shared the video of the Camaro ZL1 1LE at “Inferno Verde”. the time of 7 minutes and 16 seconds makes the ZL1 1LE the fastest ever Camaro on the German circuit, taking more than 13 seconds off last year's record in the Camaro ZL1.

With a chassis unique to its peers, the Camaro ZL1 1LE challenges any supercar regardless of price, configuration or propulsion system. Achieving more than one second per mile on the Nordschleife is a significant improvement, and speaks volumes for the 1LE's on-circuit capabilities.
