Cold Start. Sometimes the roof on the Tesla Model 3 turns orange. Know why?

This phenomenon has come to amaze, all over the world, those who come across the Tesla Model 3 . Sometimes the roof of Tesla's smallest electric car is shaded orange, with a similar color to rust.

Of course it couldn't be rust, as the Model 3's roof is made of glass, so many wondered what would cause that strange color. The answer is given by science and it is quite simple.

Tesla glass roof after rain looks orange.

The Model 3 uses two glass panels to make up its roof (equipped with a layer that reflects UV rays) which not only prevents the interior from overheating but also passengers from getting sunburned. What happens is that when the roof is covered with drops, the sun's rays reflect on them and make this protective layer appear to be orange.

The fact that the drops reflect so that the roof appears orange also indicates that they use a technology in the composition of the protective layer that does not block the Wi-Fi signal, contrary to what is normal in other models that use a layer metallic that takes on a purple color.
