Silverstone Auctions will auction a very special Italian sports car, developed by Koenig Specials.

Founded in 1977 by pilot Willy König, Koenig Specials was one of the most prominent preparers of the 80s and 90s, specializing above all in modifications to models of the Cavallino Rampante brand. One of the most popular sports cars launched by the German preparer was precisely the Ferrari Testarossa Koenig Competition Evolution II.

Produced by Ferrari in 1987, this model received from the preparer a package of modifications the following year, which included a more aggressive body kit, stabilizer bars, wider wheels and a sports exhaust system. Inside, the Ferrari Testarossa has new leather coverings that match the red Rosso Corsa of the bodywork.

Last but not least, Koenig made modifications to the 12-cylinder 4.9 liter atmospheric engine, which now produces 811 hp. Electronic help? Yeah… good luck.

One of the 21 units produced by the Ferrari Testarossa Koenig Competition Evolution II (in the images), will now be auctioned by Silverstone Auctions, for an estimated value between 146 and 166,000 euros.
