For many years, the sportier version of the Opel Zafira went by the name “OPC”. Now, with the arrival of Zafira Life, this is no longer true and that is why it fell to Irmscher, a well-known preparer specializing in Opel models, to create this variant. The result was the Irmscher is3 "Black Phantom".
Aesthetically the changes are evident, with the Zafira Life receiving black finishes, a new front apron, side skirts and even a rear spoiler. All extras that, according to Irmscher, were tested in the wind tunnel to ensure aerodynamic efficiency and not just “spice” the look.
In addition to these extras we also have considerable 20” wheels. Complementing the sportier look of the Irmscher is3 “Black Phantom” is a lowered suspension.
The mechanics also bring news
Inside, the focus was on Opel Zafira Life's traveler skills, with the Irmscher is3 “Black Phantom” receiving a series of extras that almost make it a “home on wheels”.
Finally, with regard to mechanics, Irmscher says that its latest novelty has 200 hp and 450 Nm, figures that are respectable when we take into account that the current Opel Zafira Life is “twin sister” of Opel Vivaro , a model… commercial.
