Volkswagen to hire 300 for its new Software Development Center in Lisbon

The Volkswagen Group will open a new Software Development Center , strengthening its international capabilities in IT (information technologies). The center will serve not only the Volkswagen IT Group but MAN Truck & Bus AG, and is expected to involve the hiring, in the medium term, of 300 IT experts.

Among the skills needed will be software engineers, web programmers and UX designers. Its functions will be focused on the development of software solutions for the cloud for the increased digitization of the Group's corporate processes, as well as for connectivity in vehicles.
